I buy into the “Organic, WholeFood” thing, I really do.  I am a frequent flyer at my local health food store, and love to browse all the natural multivitamins that I cannot possibly afford.  I know that my body will love me if I stop feeding it hard-to-breakdown synthetic vitamins, and give it what it needs.  But for now, the occasional juicing of kale and other cruciferous veggies (with a bunch of fruit to make it palatable thrown in), will have to do.

New Chapter 40 Plus Every Woman® II seems to have everything that us older lassies need, however.  It contains all your vitamins and minerals, plus probiotics for optimal digestive and immune health, and oodles of all-natural herbal blends to support just about every aspect of health you can come up with:

I found many consumer testimonials on New Chapter 40 Plus Every Woman® II, and they were all positive.  None of those women seemed to mind parting with the extra cash, and all cited feeling extra energy and vitality and overall glowing health.

Hmmm…maybe there’s something to feeding your body what God intended.  (Perhaps I should put my McDonald’s breakfast sandwich down.)

• Breast & Hormone Health-contains organic broccoli, organic kale, and other organic cruciferous sprouts for breast health and to support healthy estrogen metabolism.
• Probiotics–provides digestive health, replenishing good bateria into the digestive tract, and supports strong immunity.
• Numerous blends at around 100 mg each or less: Stress/Energy Support Blend, Cardio Support Blend, Hormone Support Blend 100 mg, Digestive Support Blend, Immune Support Blend.  

Hey, it may just be me, but when I reviewed all the “herbals” in the small blends in New Chapter 40 Plus Every Woman® II, I thought to myself, “Organic Coriander ,Organic Cardamom and Organic Artichoke, really?”  And here’s the thing; no explanation of what these herbs do for you is given at all.  I don’t want to bash the power of “God’s Garden”, but a little more information would be nice.

And as for the blends themselves–they’re small–with a myriad of ingredients jammed in.  Are you really receiving effective amounts?

As for the vitamins and minerals, the main one I look for in a multivitamin for aging women, is CALCIUM.  You’re only receiving only 7% of your daily value in this product and will definitely have to supplement with additional calcium.      

Is New Chapter 40 Plus Every Woman® II Safe?

Completely.  New Chapter 40 Plus Every Woman® II is so mild you can even take it on an empty stomach, which is a huge plus.

Conclusion

For $49.95 (and this is one of the cheapest prices I found), New Chapter 40 Plus Every Woman® II is one of the more expensive wholefood vitamins out there, and I’m not convinced you’re receiving everything you need to deal with health concerns like breast and eye health.  You’ll need to supplement more calcium, and hide the credit statement from your spouse (if he’s anything like mine.)
