What is Every Man’s One Daily?

I like gender-specific multivitamins.  After all, the health needs for men and women are very different–we are from Mars and Venus.  (I’d like to find a men’s multivitamin that makes him more sensitive and affectionate.  But that would probably call for raising his estrogen levels–which would come with its own set of problems.)

Every Man’s One Daily is by a supplement company called New Chapter that sells only wholefood products containing certified organic wholefoods and cultured, fresh herbs.  Some of you may have seen New Chapter products at your local wholefood store.  DON’T BUY THERE.  Not unless you’re planning on getting “herbal insurance” or are willing to sell a kidney.  They’re expensive. 

But online, New Chapter products like Every Man’s One Daily can be found relatively inexpensively; and you’re buying a supplement your body will break down and utilize easily–and optimally–because it recognizes the ingredients as “food.”  Yep, your body likes real, whole foods. 

In a convenient “one-a-day” delivery–because you have enough to remember already–Every Man’s One Daily offers:

• Ingredients that are probiotic and whole
• Offers energy, heart and immune support
• Contains calcium, vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 for calcium metabolism and bone health
• Formulated specifically for the needs of active men
• Recognized by the body as food
• Easily digested, even on an empty stomach

And apparently, it has a nice smell–which is pretty unique for a multivitamin.  Maybe you’ll be able to get it down without too many complaints?

What’s in Every Man’s One Daily?

The list is long, so here are a few brief highlights:

• All Vitamins and minerals–most, but not all are in effective daily dose.  Including Calcium, D3 and vitamin K2 for bone health.
• Stress/Energy Support Blend 60 mg–containing Organic Schizandra (berry), Organic Maca (root), Organic Chamomile (flower)
• Cardio Support Blend 20 mg–containing Organic Fenugreek (seed),Organic Oregano (leaf ), Grapeseed Extract, Organic Hawthorn (berry and seed)
• Immune Support Blend 20 mg–containing Elderberry Extract (Sambucus nigra) (berry), Organic Eleuthero (root),Organic Astragalus (root) 

Now although these herbs are undoubtedly good for you, the blend dosage is LOW.  And the problem with blends is, you don’t know if you’re receiving effective dosage (in this case, I somehow doubt it.)  Also, I’m not an “herbal gerbil” per say, and some information on what the myriad of herbs In Every Man’s One Daily do, would be nice.

Bottom line–the quantities aren’t high enough, New Chapter does not provide enough ingredient information, and the lack of clinically proven ingredients is disappointing.

Also disappointing–you’re only receiving 1.5% of your DV of Calcium, and 12% DV of vitamin K2.  You’ll need additional calcium supplementation.

Is Every Man’s One Daily Safe?

Yes.  You should of course check with your GP if you have any serious health conditions before supplementing, but Every Man’s One Daily promises to be easily digestible and mild.

Conclusion

Buy online for as cheaply as possible because New Chapter do not offer a money-back guarantee.  I found it for around $27.95 for a 72-tablet bottle (.39c a day.)  You’ll probably find benefits to taking a multivitamin containing organic wholefoods and cultured herbs, but there are still better multis on the market.
